Love Re-kindled Part 1

Why do people love?
Love is a wonderful feeling!
It ignites a passion for life in ones soul!
What happens when somebody  becomes discouraged with 'peoples' type of love?
What is it like to feel love for the first time?-Or to have love rekindled?
I know what it is like to believe in love-to feel love re-awaken inside.
As a child, I always believed in love. I believed that a man and a woman could fall in love and stay in love forever. I believed love lived. I never thought loved died.
As I grew older, I started feeling like there were many types of people who say they love yet months later they speak of how much they hate each other.
I began wondering if love still lives, yet I said if love is dead than why do I love?
I prayed to God to give me a renewed love, to totally believe that a man and a woman could love, marry each other, and stay together until the day they both depart from this world. Because 'peoples' love will never live, yet God's love will remain forever! Hallelujah!!!
Just recently, I had love, sweet, Godly unending love rekindled inside my heart!
I hope as the new year settles upon us, we can make the priority to see the miracles that encircle us everyday.
For indeed love is truly a miracle!!!

When I was about a year old, I was rushed to the hospital with an extremely high fever.
My mom said the thermometer went to 106 degrees and began to blink "Hot!" "Hot!".
When I got to the hospital, the doctors " inspected" me to see what was wrong with me. They found absolutely nothing wrong with me.
They sent me home telling my parents they could not find anything wrong with me.

Crossing the Intersection...with God's help

A friend told me this story about her son which occurred when he was about three or four years old.
One day she asked a friend to watch her kid while she went somewhere.
When she came back, she saw that her son was gone and the babysitter had no idea where the child was nor did she even really care.
My friend called friends, family, and neighbors asking if any one knew where her son was.
Nobody knew!
Just when they were about to file a missing persons report, the police came to her door asking her if her son was her son.
Of course she was ecstatic-her son was not lost!
The officer said he found him at a nearby park.
Her son had to cross a major four-way intersection in order to get to the park.
She was astonished that her son was able to get to the park without any harm.
God was definitely keeping His guarding angels around this little boy.

He had a 100% Chance of Life with Jesus

Here is a miracle, I just heard.
A lady who is Christian is going to have a baby. She and the baby in were critical danger. The baby had a zero percent chance of living, and the delivery would be very dangerous to the mother. The mother and father asked many friends to pray for the Lord to intervene. The mother went in again to get another ultrasound to see if there were any changes in the baby. The lady taking the ultrasound look very confused, and went to get the doctor. The doctors found absolutely nothing wrong with the baby. God heard the prayers of the saints.
   Hallelujah!

She Survived because of Jesus

When my sister was two years old, she was run over by a vehicle.                                                                       She was walking from the vehicle to the side walk when the driver who was not paying attention started the van. In a matter of seconds the van knocked my sister to the ground and began to roll over her leg. In a moment, my mom went running over to the van yelling, " Move back! Move back!" I remember at three years old standing on the sidewalk and watching this from the sidewalk. It seemed like it was all in slow motion. I remember the yelling. I remember other people who were outside who began yelling at the driver to " Go back!"  and who began pushing on the vehicle. I remember seeing a neighbor running down the parking lot seeing what was happening and yelling at the driver. It was horrific scene! Once the driver reversed the vehicle. My mom picked her up from the ground. My sister was not even crying. My mom was saying, "Somebody call the ambulance." Everybody around seemed to be in shock. Somebody somehow called another friend who came over quickly and took charge of the situation. She told my mom to get into the vehicle. She took her to the hospital. My mom walked into the hospital. There was a doctor standing at the front desk. My mom said distraught, " My daughter has just been run over!" My mom said the doctor turned around from the what he was doing, took my sister out of my mom's arms and began giving instructions to the staff. The doctors ran all kinds of tests on her trying to figure out what was wrong with her. They could not figure it out and had to fly her to a children's hospital. She was quickly put into ICU. She was in shock. She lost her appetite. Her leg had split when the van went over her. Her pelvic bone had punctured her on her rectum which caused her to bleed internally. Because of this, she had to have a colostomy so the doctors could operate and that she could heal.  The doctors told my parents that she might have a colostomy her whole life. They also said she might never walk again. My parents asked everybody they knew to pray for her. She was in the intensive care unit for a week. She was in the hospital for four weeks.  It took a few months for her to heal from the surgeries and the trauma. Because she had to learn to walk again, my parents took her to therapy. She learned to walk again. After she finished healing from the damage caused by the vehicle, the doctors were able to take off the colostomy.
She is able to run, skate, and play as any child-without difficulty.
My parents took pictures of my sister with family and friends while she was  recovering in the hospital, but none of the pictures that were taken are clear. They are all dark. My mom said that maybe that is because the memory is enough.
My sister is nineteen years old and still in incredible health.
This is a marvelous miracle and blessing from the Lord and my family will never cease to give thanks to God!!!

This Could Only Be A Miracle

Somebody I know told me this story. She used to often watch children.

One day one of the girls she was watching asked her to hold a pair of 14k gold earrings that her mom had given to her for doing well in school.(The girl was going to go swimming.) She said all right and told the girl that she would put the earrings on a piece of paper and to remember to get them from her after she was done. She and the girl forgot about the earrings until the next day, but she had left the earrings outside. She told the girl sorry and that she would have to get her some more earrings. Meanwhile, she prayed to find the earrings.
It  had been about a week, and there had been a huge storm that caused a great amount of leaves to fall from the trees. One day while she was walking across the property, she was led to a particular pile of leaves. She looked under the leaves, and found the small piece of paper with the earrings. She was so excited!!! The girl was also extremely happy and relieved!!!!!!
I would like to leave you with the truth of this, "All things work together for good to them that love God."

A Christmas Miracle

There are so many miracles that have occurred in my life as well as friends lives that it can be hard to choose which miracle to write about on this post. Since it is the Christmas season, I will post  a miracle that occurred around this joyous season a couple of years ago.
A couple of years ago around the Christmas season, my family was having financial troubles. We had been working hard to bring in extra cash to buy presents for each other. We also prayed. While walking out of a store one night, a stranger came up to my dad and handed him some cash. She said the Lord wanted her to give him the money.  We were and are still very thankful for this miracle that occurred a couple of years ago.
We will always be thankful for this; and my whole family will be forever eager to help all those that need help-no matter what time of year it is.
